HOT DOG EATING CONTEST

REGISTRATION TIME: 12:30 p.m.

CONTEST TIME: 1:00 p.m.

 

To Enter: Read the official contest rules and register right before the contest. Contest is limited to the first 15 contestants to register.

 

Contest Rules: Come with an empty stomach and see who will win the title of Hot Dog Eating Champ! Points will only be given for whole hot dogs and buns eaten. Any half eaten hot dog will not be counted. Water will be provided. Any style of eating is allowed as long as the entire hot dog and bun is consumed, though, any competitor who, prior to the declaration of a winner suffers urges contrary to swallowing is immediately disqualified.  Meaning, if you regurgitate or spit up you will be disqualified.  Contestants must not touch any food until the starting signal.  The winner will be decided by the judges, not the contestants.  The winner will be the person who consumes five hot dogs and buns in the shortest amount of time. In the event of a tie the contestants will participate in a sudden death round of eating.

 

Contestants must be 13 years & older.

 

Acknowledgement of Risks and Waiver of Liability: Contestant acknowledges that there are risks of personal injury as a result from participating in this contest.  Contestants, as a condition of entry, agree to indemnify and hold harmless, the Clark County Fair, their sponsors, their vendors, of any others affiliated with the Clark County Fair for any injury as a result of this competition.
