CLARK COUNTY FAIR PRETTY BABY CONTEST

CONTEST LOCATION: Hospitality Area

REGISTRATION TIME:  10:30 a.m.

CONTEST TIME: 11:30 a.m.

 

INFORMATION & RULES:

1. Age Requirements:  Babies from newborn to 18 months can enter the contest.
2. Registration:  Entries will be taken only the day of the contest.
3. Please arrive at the Fairgrounds early to accommodate sign-in and contestant numbering assignments.
4. One adult may accompany the baby on stage for the timed judging.
5. Judging will be based on the baby’s appearance and personality at the time of judging.  Judges realize that a baby’s behavior is quite unpredictable.
6. There is no required dress code for babies in the contest.
7. All decisions of the judges will be final.
8. Photography is allowed only outside the judging area.
9. Contestant numbers will be announced by the emcee.  Please listen carefully for the numbers immediately ahead so that the contest progresses smoothly and promptly.
10. Babies may be divided into additional heats for judging depending upon the number of entries.
11. Heats will be assigned as follows:
    1. 0-4 months
    2. 5-9 months
    3. 10-14 months
    4. 15-18 months
12. First, second, and third place winners in each age division will receive ribbons.
13. All babies will receive a participation ribbon.
14. The winners of each heat will participate in a final round for prizes and the title of “Prettiest Baby in Clark County”
15. The Clark County Fair will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damages.
